Head Out for the Zoo
If your family enjoys the wild side of life then head on down to the Virginia Zoo. A trip to the zoo is always a family favorite and a definite hit with the kids. At the Virginia Zoo your family can enjoy over three hundred fifty animals, and watch the romp and frolic in their natural habitat.
The zoo is about thirty minutes from Virginia Beach and a great way to while away an afternoon. You can watch the elephants and Siberian tigers stroll or take a snooze. There are also monkeys, reptiles and plenty of birds.

Fifty-three acres of animal fun are at your finger tips. Eight acres make up Okavango Delta African plains exhibit where you will find lions, zebras, giraffe, red river hog, and meerkat roaming about.
Farmyard Friends
A small farmyard setting is perfect for little ones who might be fearful of some of the bigger animals. They can pet, play with and hug some of the animals and learn all about them in a fun friendly environment.
