Also keep in mind while most people go to Virginia Beach during the peak summer months, off season is a good time to get great rates. And the weather is generally good in the off season as well. It stays warm there for quite some time.

• La Quinta Inn Virginia Beach - 192 Newtown Road Virginia Beach VA 23462-2401- conveniently located just minutes from the Norfolk Airport, this hotel offers affordable rates. An outdoor pool and continental breakfast are offered as well. The beach is only 12 miles away. Rates start at $70
• Ocean Sands Resort & Spa – 2207 Atlantic Ave. Virginia Beach VA 23451 This oceanfront resort is a good bargain if you are staying more than one night. Units offer kitchens and other amenities.  Prices start at $65.95 and  vary depending on the time of year and length of your stay.
• Double Tree Virginia Beach - 1900 Pavilion Drive Virginia Beach VA 23451 – only six miles away from the beach. Children 17 and under stay free. Nice hotel  - rates start at $59.00
